H1Z1 Download – The Battle Royale Game that Started it All

Developed by the Daybreak Game Company, the H1Z1 Download is now a 100% free to play Battle Royale game. Of course, to say that H1Z1 started the battle royale genre is a bit of an overstatement. At any rate, the game has been in development since early 2015. It has undergone a few significant changes over that time and now has taken on an entirely new direction. During its early days, H1Z1 split into two projects. On the one hand, the H1Z1: Just Survive, an MMO survival game with a Zombie Apocolypse theme. And, on the other hand, H1Z1: King of the Kill, which was the battle royale PvP game. However, in late 2107, the team at Daybreak decided to make more changes to the recipe. They dropped the H1Z1: Just Survive and H1Z1: King of the Kill, morphing into one consolidated game: H1Z1.

H1Z1 Auto Royale Mode

Given that H1Z1 has gone through many changes over the course of its development, it’s only natural to see yet another. In particular, the introduction of the Auto Royale mode. Sometime in late February 2018, Daybreak released the game out of early access. At the same time, they announced the new Auto Royale mode, a team-based vehicular battle royale. Shortly after, the developers announced their biggest news yet,  H1Z1 Battle Royale + Auto Royale is now Free to Play. By itself, this would be great news for all new players of H1Z1, however, along the way they may have overlooked their original fan base. We’ll leave it at that.

In conclusion, H1Z1 has had a rocky start, and that’s putting it lightly. All in all, the game seems to have finally found its legs and will likely go on to be a success in the Battle Royale genre. You can play the latest version of H1Z1 which is now 100% free to play. The H1Z1 download will launch the Steam version where you will enjoy all the latest game modes. The H1Z1 download is also available for the PS4, through the PlayStation Store. Of course, the PS4 version is also Free to Play.
